Sunridge Ranch offers a variety of workshops tailored to the needs of your group, incorporating exciting activities with horses, guided art projects, or both. Workshops do not involve riding horses and no prior experience is necessary — with horses or art. Wear your old jeans and bring a growth mindset — we’ll provide everything else.

Heart-Centered Leadership. In this two-day leadership workshop, discover the wild wisdom in the space between strength and compassion and witness how horses can teach us to lead from the inside out. During this event we explore our innate human need for connection, acknowledge the challenge of finding executive peers, and build-out an individual matrix of support systems. August 19–20, 2026

Horse Power I. Bring a small group or the whole team to this engaging, strategic-alignment full-day workshop, tailored to your organization’s unique needs. With the help of equine partners and brain-bending creative challenges, participants are guided toward a unified sense of purpose, enhanced communication, and self-regulation tools. Whether the goal is to bring together workers under a shared vision, enhance performance, or just reward good work, your employees are sure to have fun and takeaway transferable skills. Horse Power II. This training opportunity builds on skills developed in Horse Power I, curated for your org’s current challenges. Inspire your employees with this local training opportunity and next-level your organization. Select dates available for 2026.
Frontline professionals & continuing ed.
We offer workshops specifically built to address secondary trauma and the unique challenges of working in trauma-laden fields like law and law enforcement, healthcare, social work, armed forces, and others. Join other like-minded warriors for some respite and learn new skills to build resilience. Let the horses guide you into some much-deserved state-of-the-art self-care AKA nervous system reset.
Habeas Corpus. Bring your weary body, brain, and soul to this two-day retreat designed for legal professionals (attorneys and non-attorneys), learn from our equine friends how to attain soul-level rest, and tap into your inner-creative-child to re-learn the art of rejuvenation. During this mini-camp we focus on the highest form of self-care – enhancing neuroplasticity. 3 hours of Professional Fitness and Integrity CLE credits, application pending. June 17-18, 2026
Thriving Through Chaos. Unwind and learn tools to constructively process the cumulative exposure to secondary trauma in the workplace. These equine-facilitated, regulation-building skills are ideal for social workers, law enforcement, first responders, medical personnel, and other professionals whose work has them immersed in human suffering. August 5-6, 2026.
Personal growth workshops & retreats
From the horse arena to the art studio, Sunridge offers workshops for those seeking healing, respite, spiritual growth, or guidance with a major life decision. Participants are welcomed into a safe, supportive, quiet space where we access our inner-creative-kid and harness the intuitive wisdom of our equine partners to embark on a journey of self-discovery.
Horse-Heart Healing (H3). Our equine partners are proven stress-reducers, co-regulators, and natural intuitive healers. Horses live in the present moment and just being near them can lower heartrate, blood pressure, and cortisol. Join our group at one or more of the H3 events, and let your soul soak up some of that guided equine magic. This half-day event offers different each time. H3 is offered on May 21, July 8, and September 9, 2026.
Crossroads. Should I stay or should I go? This full-day equine exploratory workshop is designed for the person who feels stuck, is struggling with a major decision, or facing a significant transition, like divorce, retirement, career move, or other change in personal or family dynamic. In this unique workshop, we tap into the wisdom of our equine friends and inner guidance in a safe, supportive environment. May 5, 2026 or July 14, 2026
True North. Feeling unsure of your true purpose? Do you sense something more out there, waiting for you, but not sure what direction to go? This one -day mini-camp is designed to turn down the volume of the world’s cacophony, tune inward to your own true song, and plan out next steps on your formidable path. Dates TBD.
The Alchemy of Art. For those in need of healing following an upheaval or trauma, discover the magic that can happen when we allow ourselves to engage in free expression and tap into our own ancient internal apothecary. Rekindle your inner Monet and renew your spirit. No incantations, just safe, creative healing in a supportive environment. No art experience necessary. September 17, 2026.
Social group events & celebrations
Join us for some fun-on-the-farm, where we partner with horses, maneuver challenging obstacle courses, splash paint on canvases, and more. Each half day, full day, or multi-day experience is hand-crafted for your special group’s enrichment. A perfect outing for families, friends, reunions, celebrations, and more. Guaranteed to be a one-of-a-kind Montana escape.
Big Kids’ Day Off. Bring your own group of pals (boots and hats optional) for a unique play-day which includes horse-hugging, photo ops, possibly paint-splashing, and definitely belly-laughing.
The Mane Event. Gather your group (club, sorority, wedding party, etc.), put on some old jeans, and come prepared for a customized and exciting event filled with bonding, creativity, growth, and playing with horses.
Family Fun Excursions & Kids' Summer Camps
Family Fun excursions are built for families of all types and sizes who want to experience guided fun with horses and/or art, share bonding time, and learn new life-skills in the process. Not-your-average-tour!
Family Fun with Horses. Looking for a fun, wholesome activity? Put on some old jeans (cowboy boots and hats optional) and join us in the arena for some equine-facilitated challenges, games, and self-discovery. This is not a horseback riding excursion; groundwork only. No experience required. 2 hours. Minimum 4 people.
Family Fun Creations. Take a break from the ordinary and tap into your inner Picasso for some comradery, artistic expression, and paint splashing. Suitable for all ages. 2 hours. Minimum 4 people.
Family Fun with Horses and Art. Can’t decide? Get the best of both worlds — equine activities and art projects — in this half-day excursion. Suitable for all ages. Bring a lunch and water bottle. 4 hours. Minimum 4 people.
Sunridge Kids Summer Day Camps. Do you have a pre-teen that loves horses, art projects, or both? This four-day camp combines the best of both and is sure to be an unforgettable week for your kiddo. Suitable for children 8 and up. This is not a riding camp but we interact directly with the horses, so wear closed-toes shoes and bring a lunch, water bottle, and your creative self! 9-1, M, T, W & Th.
